Acts as you've never experienced it before!

The Word of God is living and active, beautiful and poetic. It should touch the senses. I love
what Kevin and Chris have done here: The truth of God's Word beautifully presented in
a way that informs the head while stirring the heart.

About the book

Acts: A Visual Guide vividly presents the exciting story of the book of Acts. Each section is a study in visual form: hand-drawn illustrations based on messages by Kevin DeYoung. Designed to be read with your Bible open next to you, or while listening to the Kevin DeYoung messages, the illustrations become a handbook to guide you through the text and help you weave the truths into the context of the whole Bible.

This is Acts as you've never experienced it before!

  • This is a unique, helpful and enjoyable guide to the book of Acts. Key teaching by Kevin DeYoung is provided in an accessible and compelling way. This will be a wonderful introduction and refresher for those wanting an overview of the book of Acts.

  • What communication! As a dyslexic I love pictures and I found the combination of images and texts took the book of Acts from black and white to colour. In fact I think my mind has now almost photographed some of the pages. I was particularly gripped by the references to other parts of the Bible, which gloriously filled out the story of Acts.

  • Someone has said, that the human brain is much more a picture gallery than a debating hall! That being the case this visual depiction of Acts is perfect for us as we remember far more readily what we see than what we hear. Kevin DeYoung and Chris Ranson have produced a wonderfully creative and biblically faithful visual commentary on Acts, hopefully the first of many.

  • An incredibly enlightening and inspiring presentation of one of the most significant eras of human history! I am amazed at how Kevin's trademark theological precision has been put into such an engaging format. I am not sure who will get more out of it - kids, teens or adults! I am excited to use this with my own family.
