Arbonne

March 25, 2008

I keep hearing great things about these products.  I have friends that swear by it, and I have seen it at every bridal fair I have been to this year.  So I decided to see what it was all about!  I spent an afternoon, last week with Arbonne consultant and regional vice president, Jennifer Finocchiaro.

So basically Arbonne doesn’t market and advertise in the traditional (expensive) ways.  Instead they use the budget to manufacture really great products.   So the products spread through word of mouth, similar to a Silpadia party or a Tupperware party.   But unlike a bunch of ladies sitting around buying Tupperware, you will love being pampered and trying an assortment of fun and exciting beauty products.  It’s a great idea for a girls pre-wedding night,  hosting your own Spa Night, invite your bridal party over to experience an evening  pampering.  If you wanted, Jen can also help you with customized makeup selection for the big day.

Some other ideas to incorporate the products into your wedding is to use them in your honeymoon baskets, wedding party gift sets, or my favorite, bathroom baskets.   (Unlike the one I threw together last minute!)

Jen’s story about how she came to be the regional vice president is an interesting one too.  “I never thought I would be selling skincare she said”   Like so many of us, she had tossed around lots of different ideas to leave the current job she was in so she could work less hours.   A great thing about Arbonne is that it can be a great way to make to help pay for those extras or you can run with it and build a business.   And since the products are REALLY good you don’t become  ”THAT” friend.   The one you dodge because every-time you see them they want to sell you something!   I think one of the reasons these products are becoming so popular is the company has some really incredible philosophies and it really shows, spend any amount of time with Jen and you can tell she really LOVES her job.   How many of us can say that!

Since 1980, Arbonne has been developing a complete line of cutting edge botanical-based pure Swiss skin care, cosmetics, nutrition and aromatherapy for both men & women. They offer inner and outer health and beauty products that are the highest in quality, safety, value, benefits and results.“      Ummm..   They do ABSOLUTELY no testing on animals.

In a few weeks I want to host a party with my Mom, (Who right now is still asking me,  What is Arbonne? and is probably thinking,  “Oh great,,,”)  So there will be more pictures of what an Arbonne party is really all about.

And I am sure Jen will chime in here and leave a comment if I got any of this mixed up!

For more information or to book your presentation, call Jennifer Finocchiaro at 781-662-7277 or visit www.jenf.myarbonne.com

Ok. This has nothing to do with Arbonne, but how could I not throw this in!

The Making of the Picture

March 21, 2008

If this magazine had a cover, this would be the cover image.   A lead photographer at KC Photography, Pam Gormely coordinated this fashion shoot earlier this week and took this image.   The dress is from Mon Cheri Bridals features French tulle, exclusive vintage lace, and a chapel length train.  It comes in white, ivory and cafe/oyster, this particular dress is in the cafe/oyster.

The winning picture is:
